Whether you are a trekking enthusiast, adventure seeker, or Nature lover, Trekking to Adam’s peak is a not-to-miss activity when in Sri Lanka. Also known as Sri Pada which means Sacred footprint, the peak is among the highest mountains in the country at 7359 Ft above sea level. Trekking to the peak is a moderate level trek covering a distance of 9 Km. The climb can take around 5 to 7 hours from the base point Nallathaniya to reach the summit. You will be mesmerized by the gorgeous views of Sunrise and Sunset from the top. The ideal time to climb Adam’s peak trail is from January until may when the weather is pleasant.
