Siem Reap is located at North-west of Cambodia and it is the home to magnificent Angkor Wat Temple, which was built in 12th century at peak of Khmer Empire. Angkor Wat is UNESCO world heritage place and is highlight of Siem Reap City. However, except for Angkor Wat Temple, there are lots of other stunning temples to see the areas and history and the rich culture. Place to visit in Siem Reap Trip:

Angkor National Museum – It is a wonderful place to begin your trip. There are lots of informative displays and video documentaries that will give the tourists better understanding of symbolism, architecture, history and culture seen at ancient temples.

Party at the Pub Street – It is the major tourist nightlife hub located in Siem Reap city. You can go there for shopping at the market surrounding the area, party and dine. You can find a wide range of restaurants on the Pub Street that cater Cambodian dishes, in addition to a range of International cuisines.

Angkor Balloon – It is large helium balloon which flies up to around 200 meters on top of ground. From its beginning, tourists can enjoy panoramic view of the Angkor Archaeological Park.

Elephant Rides – Elephant ride is offered at entrance of South Gate to Bayon Temple. It's a 20 minutes ride and is offered only early in morning at around 7 – 8:00 am.

Tonle Sap River Tour – There are numerous siem reap tours coordinators that present a range of river tours packages to floating villages along Tonle Sap River. These tour packages include the shuttle services from and to hotel and Tonle Sap port, guide fees and boat and meal at one among the floating restaurants.

Apsara Dancing – It is a traditional dance where young girls in vibrant costumes portray the beautiful Apsara. A popular restaurant which features this performance completely for free is Temple Bar on the Pub Street. The show runs daily from around 8 to 9 pm.

Monkey Business – Monkey wander around the Angkor Archaeological Park freely, there are numerous of them at Angkor Wat Temple. They are delightful to watch and comfortable in presence of tourists. But, visitors shouldn't leave bags and knapsacks unattended as monkeys tend to pry with unattended tourists bags looking for food.

Cambodian Massages – There are numerous Spas in tourist hub of the Pub Street. Tourists easily can enjoy 1 to 2 hours massage before taking dinner at one among the international restaurants.
