Knott's Berry Farm, a Californian theme park located in Buena Park is one of the 14th most popular parks in North America. Annual attendance has increased yearly since it was acquired by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company. The 160-acre theme park hires 10,000 full-time or seasonal employees. The park offers visitors from around the world forty different rides, consisting of water rides, children's rides, family rides, and roller coasters.
The Increasing Popularity of Knott's Berry Park because of knotts berry farm discounts
The park's land was once a berry farm owned by the Knott family, Walter and Cordelia Knott. During the 1920s, the farm sold berries and preserves and pies from a roadside stand alongside State Route 39. In the 1930s, the farm sold fried chicken dinners. These famous dinners were sold in a tea room, called Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant. Later small shops were built around the increasingly well-liked restaurant. In the 1940s, a Ghost Town was added on to the property, and as more attractions were added, the family began charging admission fees. In the 1990s, after the death of Walter and Cordelia Knott, the children sold the business. Cedar Fair acquired the theme park while ConAgra Foods acquired the food business. Later, the food business was sold to J.M. Smucker. Meanwhile, Cedar Fair continued to improve the park, adding more rides and themes. In 1999, for instance, they added the immensely popular Knott's Soak City water park.

There are three basic ways to get knotts berry farm tickets discount: through business partnerships, through military discounts, and through AAA membership discounts.
1. Business Partnerships
The theme park has partnered with local grocers, and discount tickets are available from the following grocery stores:

Up to the 27th of April, these participating merchants are giving coupons that shave $21 dollar off the Knott's Berry Farm Regular admission tickets.
2. Military Discounts
Visitors with military service can get $38 off the Knott's Berry Farm Regular admission tickets upon showing their military I.D. card. This discount does not apply to special events. For instance, it does not apply to a ticketed event like Knott's Scary Farms.
AAA Members
Visitors with USA AAA memberships can get a percentage discounts off the Knott's Berry Farm Regular admission tickets and Knott's Soak City water park upon showing their AAA card. They can save 30 percent off regular admission and 20 percent off Knott's Soak City water park. Again, like the military discounts, there is some exclusion. knotts berry farm discounts are not available for Junior tickets, Senior tickets, or Special Ticketed Events. New Year's Ever or Knott's Scary Farm are considered special events.
