Are you in Nepal this holiday season? Do you love trekking and want to trek the high passes of Nepal to meet your adventure bud? If yes, then there are a few trekking destinations that you must want to explore. Here are a few examples:
Tamang heritage trek:
A trip to the Tamang Heritage trek trail takes visitors to some of the most fascinating trekking adventure in Nepal. Rest just north of the famous Kathmandu Valley, the Tamang Heritage trail is probably the most accessible trekking province in Nepal, where one can experience some of the most of magnificent scenery in the nation & hike through untouched Tamang villages while offering a sustainable financial gain to the community.
Langtang Gosainkunda trek:
Langtang Gosaikunda trek and Helambu Trek is an incredible journey in Nepal via lush-green forests, abundant wildlife, picturesque villages and incredible sights of the gigantic Himalayas. The 17 day trek starts in Kathmandu with trips of the city's UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Continue trekking in the magnificent Langtang Valley & reach Gosaikunda which is a reserved pilgrimage place for both Hindus and Buddhists. You will pass by a few treks during your trek as well. One of the highlight of your hike is to reach the top of Ama Yangri at 3,800m. The view of the Himalayas from the top of the hill is believed to rival that of Poon Hill. From here, Mt. Shishapangma and the Langtang ranges seem so close that we feel that we can almost touch them.
Mardi Himal Trek:
Well, the Mardi Himal trek is a perfect option for those people who're searching for an off-the-beaten track experience in the calmer regions of the Annapurna province of Nepal. It's the lowest & probably the least explored of the Nepal trekking peaks. While hiking on this trail, leading up to Mardi Himal basecamp & eventually the high camp, we get to admire the sole trails filled with interesting villages, verdant forests, terraced farms, valleys, glittering rivers and the exceptional sights of the Annapurna, Machhapuchre (Fishtail) and Hiunchuli mountains. Another advantage regarding this hiking trail is that the routes make a tiny circuit up to the Mardi Himal base camp so that you don't need to backtrack over the same land.
So, next time you are planning a holiday in Nepal, don't forget to add any of these above mentioned trekking destinations into your itinerary. No doubt you will have some memorable time in these peaks. Best of luck for your adventure!
