Day-3 – Visit to Rohtang Pass
Day 3 of the tour can exclusively be reserved for exploring the raw nature for which Manali is widely popular. After having an early breakfast, you can depart for Rohtang Pass which is located at a height of 4,114 meters. The route passes through Gulaba which is known for its meadows and is a worth exploring place.
The climb further takes you to a small hamlet Marhi which is also a place for a stopover if you are a paragliding enthusiast. A range of adventure sporting activities take place here and if you are an adventure enthusiast, a stopover at Marhi is recommended.
Further up lies Rohtang Pass which offers mesmerizing views of Lahaul valley on its other side. You can enjoy a range of activities like ride on snow scooter and skiing at this mountaintop which is the first pass in the region when you head from Manali to Leh. Rohtang Pass is also known for Beas Kund which is origin of River Beas.
