Seniors aged 70+ have more desire for traveling than the middle aged folks. This is because they feel they want to relax and enjoy their retirement thoroughly. After working hard for years together, they absolutely need a fine relaxation and rejuvenation to make themselves happy.

The enjoyment of seniors certainly vary from that of the younger ones, therefore KL has things readily accessible not alone for us but also for our grand parents too.

Lake Garden

This is one of the finest places in KL that can provide a peaceful picnic. The surroundings are so lovely and greenish that the elderly will feel so unperturbed sitting near the lake and admiring the eels and fishes. The fountains that splash, the lotus flowers that smile, the fantastic white bridge where our grannies can stand on and the deer park area will definitely make their heart feel so fresh.

KL Performing Arts Centre

This is the prime center for music, arts and performances! Lots of live orchestras and concerts are conducted in this place. Know whether your older mommies and daddies are fortunate, i.e., find whether there are any shows available at the time of their visit, if so then book the tickets at the earliest to avoid unavailability. This place has many sections, each capable of occupying more number of audience.

Petronas Twin Towers

Age is not that important to visit this world-famous skyscraper. Anyone will definitely have a desire to visit this man-made giant at the time of their visit to KL. So, take your family's senior capitans along when visiting this place. The building itself is a wonder! Take them to the top (it's absolutely easy as there are elevators) and show them the wonderful view of the city from the top-most floor of the tall building. A rolling restaurant is also there to dine-in.

KLCC

The city center has so many inclusions! A park for the early morning walk, a huge shopping mall to purchasing everything from a household item to the personal accessories and an in-build aquarium to see various marine and fresh-water habitats. So, invest at least four to five hours with them here. Give them regular breaks to refresh, relax and rest, so that they can see the remaining places with the same interest.

Where to Stay

Bukit Bintang or surrounding areas like the Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock will be the better places to stay. These places have so many attractions and sightseeing spots, so by accommodating here the senior citizens can see many attractions easily. Also make them stay in a safe hotel or resort like the Ancasa Hotel Spa Kuala Lumpur so that they remain secured day and night. The stay does not only depend on where it is, but also should focus on what it has. There should be all facilities like restaurant, mini bar and lounge within the hotel, so it will easy for the older people to enjoy all privileges within, without going out.
