Bandhavgarh National Park:- The Park is famous for its having the highest density of tiger population in the country. Spread across 105 sq kilometres of undulating topography, of ridges, forests and meadows, the park is rich in other forms of wildlife as well. These include Nilgai, Chital, Chinkara, Wild Boar, Chausingha and more. A wide variety of bird species is also found here.
The park is situated in the heart of India, in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is best visited in the months of February to May.
Jim Corbett Park:- A wildlife safari in the Jim Corbett National Park is a must do for every wildlife enthusiast planning a trip to India. The Park, situated in the foothills of the Himalayas, offers a rich ecosystem. Boasting of an area of 520 sq. kilometres, the park is much sought after for its healthy population of Bengal Tigers. Wild elephants, leopards, deer, flying fox, wild boar, and different species of birds call it their home.
The months between November and June are perhaps the best time to plan your trip to the park.
Kanha National Park:- Kanha Tiger Reserve is spread over an area of 1,949 sq km and as ranked as one fo the topmost national parks of the country. While it has a significant tiger population, it also houses other animals like sloth bears, leopards, Barasingha (the only sub species of swamp deer in India) and Indian wild dog. Reptiles like python, cobra, viper, krait, common skink, fan throated lizard and many more are found here
The sal and bamboo forests of Kanha were the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling's famous narrative, The Jungle Book.
The winter season, from October to February is the peak season for the park.
Ranthambore National Park:- The lush virgin jungles of Ranthambore National Park, situated at the junction of the Aravali and Vindhya ranges are a boon for animal lovers. The picturesque landscapes and wildlife make it an ideal place to connect with nature.
The best time to go to the park is between April and June. During these summer months, animals come to the three lakes within the park to quench their thirst and the chances to catch a glimpse increases.
