A Journey Through Hajj – The Annual Gathering

The journey of Hajj is more likely to be let the light enter into your soul. It is once in a lifetime journey that brings a more prosperous life for a Muslim. You live it beneath the souls and worshippers share a special kind of connection with Allah (SWT) during the journey.

Many of the Muslims covered in white cloth and enter in the Holy City of Makkah. Makkah is the city where our beloved Prophet (PBUH) was born. He lived more than a half of his life in this city before migrating to Madinah. However, pilgrims are required to go under the strict visa application before the application is approved by Saudi Arabia. After entering into the sacred city and looking at the Kaaba for the first time is always a feeling from another world.

Moving on to the rites of Hajj, one of the most essential parts of this journey is a sermon. This sermon is relevant to the last sermon of the Prophet (PBUH). On this day the Allah (SWT) has declared the completion of deen for the whole Muslim Ummah and it was conveyed by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). In this sermon, every issue of the life was discussed briefly and people were advised to be fair in all of the matters regarding the world.

The Day of Arafat reminds Muslims of the day of Judgment. On that day, it’s going to be the final hearing of what you submitted to the Allah (SWT) in term of intentions and deeds. So, the Arafat day is the chance to seek forgiveness wholeheartedly. Live the rest of the life with dignity and keeping your morals at the side. This journey is supposed to purify your sins and help you cope with every other challenge. It brings out the physical and spiritual test in your life.
