The city of Mauritius was hidden from human eyes and was discovered by the Arabian sailors and later was invaded by the Portuguese. Created by volcanoes, the island is located in the Indian Ocean. And is a part of the Mascarene Islands. With forests in the mountain range, the coastal zone experiences a tropical nature of climate, being located near the Tropic of Capricorn.
