Old Adelaide Gaol is another landmark and dated back to 1878 and was finally decommissioned in 1878. Parliament house is yet another land mark features magnificent architecture, marble exterior columns, beautifully decorated inside with many grand features and impressive staircase. The building dates back to late 19th century and offers guided tours.

The Ayers Historic is an important mansion in the city and stands across from Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Carrick Hill house

Carrick Hill house is a large and impressive stately home built during 1930s and it is in southern side of the city. It is home to lavishly decorated interior with detail features. Some more important building is Grange House, Magistrates Court of South Australia, State Library of South Australia and Torrens Lake.
