AirAsia Offers Direct Delhi to Goa Flights

Goa, lying on the coast of the Arabian Sea, is synonymous to tourism in India. The topographical beauty of this place attracts travellers from all across the globe. In addition to this, the vibrant nightlife and colourful festivals celebrated here, make it even more popular among globetrotters. This state is well-connected with other parts of the country as well as the world. To meet high demand created by tourists for Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Delhi to Goa flights, most airlines offer their services on these routes. Recently, AirAsia also announced new operations on this route, after it declared Indira Gandhi International Airport as its hub in the northern region.

AirAsia

This low-cost carrier (LCC) started operating in the Indian skies back in June, 2014. Initially, this Indo-Malaysian airline stated that it will focus on smaller markets due to high cost of maintenance at airports in the metro cities. However, this joint venture between AirAsia Berhad, Telestra Tradeplace and Tata Group, decided to include these cities after evaluating expenditure and revenue statistics. This airline is known for offering economical services, and these options rolled out by it will allow travellers to book cheap flights from Delhi to Goa.

New Launches

As per reports, the carrier also commenced operation on Delhi to Bangalore and Guwahati routes in addition to the flight from Delhi to Goa. Like its other launches, this one was also accompanied by a promotional offer. The cost of making reservation for Delhi to Bangalore, Guwahati and Bangalore were INR 1700, 1500 and 1700, respectively. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company expressed his happiness on these launches and said that it shows the confidence of the airline in its business model. He added that the LCC aims at offering top-notch services at the lowest possible cost, and it will continue to expand its network in the country. However, people looking for cheap flight tickets from Delhi to Goa can check other options listed down below.

Other Options

All the carriers based in India offer non-stop, direct or connecting services on this route. GoAir, SpiceJet and the leading carrier IndiGo, offer non-stop flights. It takes around 2.5-3 hours to travel between these cities, and IndiGo provides the most time-efficient service. Travellers can choose from three flights operated by IndiGo at 6.35 am, 7.50 am and 9.25 am. Similarly, services offered by the national airline of the country – Air India – are scheduled at 4.45 pm and 9.00 pm. However, the first flight of the day is operated by GoAir at 5.20 in the morning. These carriers also operate cheap return flights from Delhi to Goa and vice-versa.

Apart from these options, people can also opt for connecting services offered by Jet Airways or Air India. Such services are best-suited for people, who have to attend business in two cities at a short notice as the layover period often ranges between 3-4 hours.
