Andhra Pradesh – The Koh-i-noor Of India

Andhra Pradesh 'the Koh-I-Noor of India'; it got this name not only because the famous Koh-I-Noor diamond was found here but also as its one of the richest state in cultural and natural heritage. The beauty of Andhra can't be described in few sentence or pages, as it has countless reasons for any person to visit and admire it with own experience and which can be experienced closely only after by spending holidays in Andhra Pradesh.

About the Koh-I-Noor of India

The major language spoken here are Telegu, Hindi and Urdu. It has rich art and cultural heritage and background. It is also known as Rice bowl of India as it's the one of the largest producer of rice India.

Locating in the southeastern part of India, it has the second longest coastline of India which is 974km in length and is the seventh largest state of India covering area of 162 970 sq.km. It is currently sharing Capital Hyderabad with newly separated state Telangana, but till 2024 only, afterward it will be Amravati.

Climate:- Almost every kind of weather can be found in this state though not very extreme, it varies mainly on the geographical regions. Summers are generally hotter in the coastal region, and very good amount of rainfall in monsoon; winters are not extremely cold but Lambasingi in Visakhapatnam district which is also known as Kashmir of Andhra Pradesh receives snowfalls.

Natural Vegetations:- The state has vast forest cover which is mainly divided into four biotic provinces which are Deccan Plateau, Central Plateau, Eastern Highlands and East Coastal Plains. And state is conserving its heritage of wildlife by number of Sanctuaries, National Park and Zoological parks like Krishna Wildlife Sanctuary, Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, Coringa and many more.

Economy:- Major economy of Andhra is based on Agriculture, it plays very important role in not only state but also nations economy. Other then crops livestock, poultry and fisheries also contributes important part. Industrial sector mainly involves Pharmacy, automobiles, textiles etc.

Tourism.

It has almost everything a person love to spend times around during holidays; Caves, beaches hills, rivers, beautiful lakes, wild life, and historical monuments and so on. Adventure, peaceful nature, link with the Historic world, happening wild life and more. Almost everything at one State and that is Andhra Pradesh.

Some of the famous spots which one must not skip visiting are R.K. beach, The Borra Caves, Araku Valley, Horsley Hills, Lake Gangotri, Environmental Park, Horsley museum, Kolleru Lake, temples in Nellore and many more.
