Sparkling beaches, a gentle breeze, turquoise sea and verdant tropical landscapes: this is what the average tourist thinks about when planning to go on vacation and leave everything behind. Carmel Beach is also animal-friendly, and it's an amazing spot to bring your dogs; along the coast you'll see owners tossing tennis balls and romping with their furry pals. Note that the weather is not always perfect here, being quite chilly from May to August; however, there are some sunny days mixed in. Fall and winter here are just perfect for family vacations. Parking, especially during summer months and on weekends, can be a challenge, as the official parking lot isn't that big.

Located in Southampton Parish, Horseshoe bay Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. If you go to its western side, you will find a cove embowed by cliffs, known as Baby Beach. This beach has shallow water and is perfect for diving and snorkeling. It is equipped with a cafe, bathrooms and shower facilities just off the beach.
