Best Towns Of Spain To Spend Vacations

Whatever your areas of interest are, there is something or else that will definitely delight you in Spain. Cosmopolitans like Madrid, charming medieval towns like Barcelona and Seville, pilgrimages like Santiago de Compostela, Sun kissed beaches and coastal areas like Costa del Sol are sure to charm just about anybody who come here for travel. There are a number of regions in Spain that are deeply affected by Moorish, Roman and Jewish culture. For people who like to surf, there are plenty of point breaks and similarly for those who have interests in national Park and mountain ranges, can find an amazing vegetation and wildlife in Spain.

Madrid

Though a lot of Americans first think of Barcelona when they are planning to travel Spain but Madrid is one city that should not be escaped at any cost. The capital city of Spain is choked with fascinating sites and thrilling activities. You can spend a Sunday morning bargaining and catching some good items in the enormously big flea market, The Rastro and find handmade jewelry, antiques, souvenirs and handicrafts here.

Some world-renowned museums like the Reina Sofia, the Prado etc. are must-visits in Spain. Make sure to stroll by the Retiro Park. Sipping coffee near Plaza del Sol in also be a great experience.

Galicia

Galicia that is present in the northwest part of Spain is it the town where you can get yourself soaked in true Spanish varieties. They overnight train trip from Madrid will make you reach Santiago de Compostela. You can stroll to visit medieval cathedral, an early morning visit is preferred. You can take the car to explore the region especially the gorgeous coast, sandy beaches, fragrant eucalyptus forests and stone architectures can set the mood of the holidays. Galicia is famous for Celtic influences. You'll find a number of tombstones and stone granaries that have been carved using Celtic symbols.

Mallorca (Majorca)

The biggest town in Balearics, the Mallorca is a must visit part of Spain and is famous for smooth as well as rocky beaches. Good food, interesting shopping and great nightlife are also some of the features of this town. If you prefer sports you may also indulge in swimming, hiking and kayaking. Plan to spend a number of days here as there are plenty you can see and a lot you can do.

Your trip to other regions and towns of Spain can also be great. You can prepare yourself a bit to travel around Spain by learning few important words in different languages like Spanish, Catalonia etc.
