Black Friday Grand Canyon Helicopter Tours Bargains

Are you a bargain hunter? Black Friday is one of the best times of the year to do your shopping, because the discounts you can find are sometimes, quite literally, insane. What many people don't realize is that it's not just big box stores and online outlets that offer sales on black Friday, and if you wait to book your Grand Canyon helicopter tour the day after Thanksgiving, you will be able to take advantage of some serious discounts.

Here's What You Need to Do

You'll need to book online to receive the best discounts this Black Friday. You'll also need to complete the purchase with your credit card, which will lock in the price, and will also ensure that your seats are reserved.

Special prices will be offered on tours that leave from Las Vegas, and also South Rim tours that leave from Tusayan in Arizona. If you're fast, you'll be able to find discounted prices on the air-only tours, as well as the ever popular landing tours.

I can't rave about the landing tours enough, but be aware that they are only available from Las Vegas. Because prices after thanksgiving will be the best you will find all year, I highly recommend that you take advantage of the Black Friday discounts to book a landing tour.

Add-On Tours

When you see the huge discounts, you might want to add-on some additional tour features to get the most out of your trip. After all, you're saving money so you may be able to add more adventure, even on a limited budget.

From Nevada, you could choose landing tours like the one that includes a Champagne picnic, or one that includes VIP Skywalk tickets.

At the South Rim, there are no landing tours, but there is a ground tour that offers a unique experience that is just as good. This tour will allow you to jump on a 4×4 Jeep and explore the landscape. After seeing everything from the air, it's exciting to see it again from a totally new perspective. The jeep tour is over two hours long, and you will even be given a special Grand Canyon IMAX cinema experience to go with it.

Basic or Deluxe?

You will find blowout deals on basic and deluxe tours, so it's a good idea to know the difference between the two. Basic tours use slightly older helicopters, like the Bell Ranger. The Ranger is a safe and efficient touring helicopter, but it is no longer the best that's available. For the best, you will need to choose a deluxe tour.

The deluxe tours use the EcoStar 130 helicopter. These models have been fully customized for sightseeing, and the benefits are incredible. There's a massive viewing window that provides panoramic views, the cabin is larger than in other helicopters, and the seats are bigger, and arranged so that everyone gets an unobstructed view of the landscape. Deluxe tours are always the preferred option, but with discount tickets, it will be hard to pass them down.

One other advantage of the deluxe tours is that in Vegas they leave directly from The Strip, and come with a limousine shuttle service.

Final Thoughts

Grand Canyon helicopters provide unrivalled sightseeing. If you've been waiting for the right deal, then Black Friday will be the perfect time to book tickets.

Remember that you'll need to get in quick, and make sure you complete your booking with your credit card. Whether you choose basic or deluxe, Arizona or Nevada, and any of the tour add-ons, you'll be getting the best prices for some of the best air tours in the world.
