Both these countries are well-connected with each other via road as well as air ways. However, as this involves crossing geographical borders of countries, travellers are required to present a list of documents. In the absence of these required documents, they are not allowed to travel across these countries, due to security reasons. As far as the options regarding flights to Pakistan is concerned, there are plenty of them. Travellers can book flights to Karachi, the capital city of Pakistan, from the following major cities of India.

Delhi

The administrative capital of India, Delhi is also one of the most populous cities in the country. Owing to the strategic location of this city and availability of all the modern amenities here, it is also a centre of business. As per reports, most of the international flights take a halt at Indira Gandhi International Airport. More than 50 flights are operated from this capital city to Karachi. There are no direct flights to Pakistan from India that leaves travellers with options to choose from services with one or two stopovers. Most of them take a halt at Abu Dhabi or Muscat. GulfAir, Jet Airways, Etihad, Thai, Emirates, Sri Lankan and Oman Air are major carriers that operate flights between these two countries.

Mumbai

Formerly called Bombay, Mumbai is called the Financial Capital of the country. It houses head or zonal offices of many giant business conglomerates based in India as well as other countries. Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is the second busiest terminal in the country. Travellers can choose from more than 45 flights to reach Karachi from Mumbai. In addition to Abu Dhabi and Muscat, flights operated from here may include a stopover at Colombo also. The India to Pakistan flight fare depends on the journey time, stopovers and routes chosen by the airline. Information regarding these options can be checked on online portals, and travellers are suggested to compare them in order to grab the best deals.

Bangalore

One of the major metropolitans in the country, Bangalore is often called the Silicon Valley of India. The number of aviation services to Karachi from here is comparatively less. Travellers can choose from more than 30 flights offered by Emirates, Etihad, Jet Airways, Oman Air and Thai Airways. Most of these services take a halt at Muscat or Abu Dhabi, except for the one operated by Thai Airways that stops at Bangkok. Usually, the journey time is directly proportional to the number of stopovers. Hence, travellers are suggested to make reservations with the flights that include lesser number of layovers in order to make their journey time efficient.

Any of these cities can be selected as the departure destination to book flights to Pakistan.
