Agriturismo Piacenza is in an excellent location, right in the center of Vicobarone in the heart of the Tidone Valley, in front of the steps which lead to the town's main church.

Solutions: a comfortable double room overlooking the valley, a carefully furnished spacious suite with a warm fireplace, a double room with a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom.

The comfort of sleeping on excellent mattresses and the pleasure of breakfast in the grand 16th century beam ceiling room. Great coffee and excellent cakes.

In the summer, guests can swim and sun bathe in the pool reserved exclusively for them and surrounded by the Estate vineyards.

After a day in the sun, in the evening the owners offer their guests guided wine tastings of their DOC Colli Piacentini Wines and local DOP products.

There are several monuments near the castle of notable importance such as the San Rocco fountain built in the XV century and the San Rocco grotto , a reconstruction of the place where ,according to the legend, San Rocco hid during the period he had the plague and recovered thanks to miraculous rain drops sent by angels.

Lunch and dinner at the Trattoria Del Tempio right next door will offer you the opportunity to savor the best culinary specialties of the region.

The choice is varied: the best DOP cold cuts, exquisite home made pasta and refined main courses. Excellent quality and honest prices.

From Vicobarone numerous castles of the Piacenza province can easily be reached by car. You will be fascinated by the legends that surround these mysterious and magical places such as the Rocca D'Olgisio, the Rivalta Castle, The Agazzano Castle and the medieval villages Grazzano Visconti and Castel Arquato.

The city of Piacenza is rich in history, monuments, works of art and palaces to visit. Collegio Alberoni hosts Antonello de Messina's “Ecce Homo”. Palazzo Farnese includes an archeological museum, an exposition of arms, glasses and ceramics, the famous museum of coaches and numerous paintings including a famous Botticelli tondo.
