When it comes to finding a budget holiday in Berlin, Germany there are a number of things that you will need to take into consideration. Certainly by meticulously planning your vacation to this city you will ensure that you get the best deals possible. Once you have your itinerary organized you can then start to book your flights and accommodation well ahead of the time that you are due to go away.

From a touristic point of view, Berlin is the fantasy of any person who has a desire for traveling. This capital is the European metropolis with the richest history but also with the most impressive return. The city, traumatized after the Second World War, tragically affected by the Berlin Wall and the split administration, finds itself for 18 years in a Gargantuan process of renewal, reinvention and reconstruction. Today, the capital of Germany represents one of the most essential world centers of fun, music, tolerance, culture, art and tourism.

The Victory Column is one of the most famous monuments in Berlin. Work commenced by Heinrich Strack in 1864 to mark the Prussian victory in the Danish-Prussian war. By the time it was inaugurated on 2 September 1873 Prussia had also defeated Austria in the Austro-Prussian War and France in the Franco-Prussian War (1870/1871), giving the statue a new status.

Another must-see landmark in Berlin is the Schloss Charlottenburg, also known as the Charlottenburg Palace, which is the largest palace in the city. It was built in the 1800s and employs beautiful architectural styles like rococo and baroque. Even though it experienced a lot of damage during World War II, several reconstructions and renovations helped it recover to what it is now.
