Craziness Matters Tandem Skydive

Craziness matters tandem skydive

Skydiving lies in Extreme level adventures sport in the world. In all disciplines it is the closest to mankind which comes to experiencing true human flight. But safe skydiving comes down to safe Skyriders who look out for themselves in safe hands.

Tandem jump is a very popular way to make your first skydive at a high altitude. Tandem skydive gives you the curious potential to experience your first jump and the thrills of skydiving. Most of the drop zones offer tandem skydives with two different scenarios: a hybrid training method sometimes called “tandem progression” and “one-time fun jump”. The trainer only requires about 30 minutes of ground preparation before her first skydive. Then after the standard First Jump Course (FJC) is completed which can take up to four hours or more. By definition Tandem jumping consists of an experienced jumper i.e. a jumper which has experience of skydiving many times called as a “Tandem Master” or “Tandem Instructor” and the passenger. The tandem instructor rides on the back of passenger and wears an extra large parachute system capable of carrying weights of two people and can be easily able to safety suspend two people. The tandem progression student wears a suit of skydiving designed harness that attaches to the instructor in four points to the tandem master. After a four minute canopy ride to the ground tandem freefall generally lasts between 45 and 60 seconds. Tandem jumping provides a great advantage for the adventurous thrill who cannot adequately meet the requirements of the Static line jump or Accelerated Free Fall.

Static Line training has enlarged over the last 30 years from military firms into a successful Adventures method for Extreme Sports. The passenger gets training of 4-5 hours of ground training and then the passenger is taken to a high altitude for the jump. The jump itself consists of a simple “poised” exit from the strut of a small single engine Cessna aircraft, or the side door of a larger aircraft. As the student falls from the aircraft the main canopy is deployed by a static line attached to the aircraft and the student will experience about two to three seconds of falling as the parachute opens. Although Static Line jumps requires about 15 minutes of preparation before the jump and then after 2 good static line jumps the passenger will be trained. If static line jumping is you idea goal then you should be satisfied of doing it by your own and then after completing your First Jump course, you are capable of Solo jump from a height of 3,500 feet using modern rectangular parachute. No previous experience is necessary and it takes just 8 hours of parachute lessons to prepare you for your first solo static line parachute jump.

Accelerated Free Fall program was evolved in 1982 as an “accelerated” method of learning process compared to the static line skydives. The AFF program will give you a true taste of extreme sport skydiving. The ground training is a little larger than static line because the student will be doing a 50 second freefall on his/her very first jump. The passenger will close the aircraft at an altitude of 10 to 20 thousand feet along with two AFF instructors who will instruct the student at the time of freefall. The instructors maintain grips on the student from the moment they leave the aircraft until opening; assisting the student as necessary to fall stable, perform practice ripcord pulls, monitor altitude, etc. Each AFF level skydives is requires to take one jump, and requires about 45 minutes of ground training and after successfully performing the objectives of each level, the student moves on to the next level.
