Delightful Train Journey Between Mumbai And Jaipur

Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, is indeed an ideal place to spend a vacation in the midst of colorful markets, vibrant people, bustling and just often crowded as well as polluted surroundings, beautiful beaches, and certain iconic monuments. Home to Bollywood, the city lures thousands of enthusiasts every year that, today it is one of the most populated cities in the country. Jaipur is one of the cities from where come large hordes of tourists that crave to spend their holidays in Mumbai. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and evokes the royal Rajput family that ruled the region. It is itself a popular tourist destination as is a royal heritage city full of iconic monuments, including: Jantar Mantar, Amber Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Jal Mahal, and Hawa Mahal. Jaipur to Mumbai train is one of the most popular modes to cover the distance and indeed, is something that a backpacker should give a try.
It takes about 16 to 22 hours, depending on the train that you are catching, to cover the distance. The journey is certainly long, however, the good thing is that there are multiple stoppages on the route where the train stops for a few minutes. You can get down and sip-in the tea in the earthen cups and soak-in the sights and sound of a typical Indian railway station. Even while you are journeying in your coach, the fellow passengers are talkative enough that you will feel like sharing your stories with them. Besides, there will be the vendors and chaiwalas doing up and down the coaches, that will keep you busy during the journey.
The rush of catching the train, the cries of the chaiwalas, potters in their red shirts, myriad vendors, and the interesting people whom you'll meet while travelling by a train, everything about travelling in a train seems fascinating.
