Discovering California- The Golden State

If you plan on going swimming in the ocean, then it will be best if you visit during any month from May to October-right before the water begins to get cold.

Yosemite National Park, declared as a World Heritage Site, provides breathtaking views of clear waters, towering old mountains with the vast, bright blue sky above – scenery that gets imprinted in your memory for eternity. Among the many waterfalls located in this park, the Yosemite Falls is the highest in North America with the staggering height of 2,425 feet. Due to the existence of many different types of ecosystems, the park is able to support around 400 different species which include birds, mammals, amphibians, fish and reptiles. It also supports more than 1,500 varieties of plants. There are many activities like hiking, climbing and rafting for the seniors and juniors of a family to take part in together. During the winter, the park gets covered with a blanket of fresh white, fluffy snow, giving it an enchanting look that belongs in fairytale books.

Sequoia National Park, renowned for its giant sequoia trees, is one of the places which should not be missed. It is home to the ginormous General Sherman Tree which happens to be the largest tree on Earth. Grab some great travel deals and witness the opulence of these ancient trees. The iconic Golden Gate Bridge is located in the beautiful city of San Francisco. The fiery red bridge with the blue waters as its background is a sight to behold.
