Among nature lovers, the plains of Serengeti and Ngorongoro are very popular. Usually, Arusha town is the starting point of the Northern Safari. From Arusha, the nearest reserved wildlife area is Arusha National park. It is just 32 km away from the town. The sights of baboon, colobus and vervet monkeys, duikers elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, leopard, hyena, zebra and a wide range of antelopes please the eyes.
