Essentials to Pack During a Trek to The Markha Valley Trek Route

Exploring the majestic Indian Himalayas is a dream of a lot of trekking enthusiasts. Markha Valley in Ladakh is one of the regions in India that the trekkers aim to trek on. But there are several aspects of trekking that one must maintain. Packing the rucksack is something very important while heading for a trek. There are some must-haves that you must pack while planning a trek to the Markha Valley Trek Route.

Medicines and First Aid

Markha Valley trek or tea house trek would let you experience a magnificent view of the chilling cold trekking area in Ladakh. While continuing the Trekking Tour Markha Valley, you will be startled to see the panoramic scenery of Ladakh along with the famous peaks such as Kang Yissay (21000 feet) and Stok Kangri (20086 feet).

Several physical problems can arise at this high-altitude spot such as fever, pain and injury. Hence, it is a must for you to keep plenty of painkillers, antibiotics, antiseptic creams, crepe bandages and much more handy. Vinyl gloves and insect repellent creams are also important to keep in this regard.

Complete Trekking Gear

Apart from the Markha Valley Trek Map, you trekking gear needs a lot of things so that you can complete a smooth journey. Foldable tents, camping stoves and some primary utensil must be packed in your rucksack.

Apart from these, the other essentials are a hard copy of the itinerary and inner line permits are the mandatory documents that you have to carry. To avoid hassles, make sure to pack chargers for all your gadgets, LED torch, memory cards, spare set of batteries and post-paid sim cards. Keep enough money and credit card for emergency situations.

Food and Clothes

For Markha Valley Trekking, pack food and water in good amount. Experts' advice to keep a lot of chocolates and energy bars in the rucksack to feel energetic throughout the journey. Packaged drinking water is one of the key components. But you can keep Water-purification tablets with you in case you get to drink water from available resources.

To wear you must pack plenty of woollens. High-quality leather jackets, full sleeve t-shirts, water-resistant trekking pants, trekking boots, woollen caps and gloves should be necessarily packed in your rucksack.

A trek to the Markha valley can be an experience of a lifetime for anyone. The route is ideal for the advanced trekking enthusiasts. Though beginners can also aim to explore it, both beginners and expert trekkers must pack their rucksacks meticulously to avoid hassles and risks.
