Explore The Serene Wilderness in The Tiger Sanctuaries in India

Wildlife tourism has been the center of attraction for the tourists across the world. There are different national parks and wildlife sanctuaries in the country appealing nature lovers, tourists, wildlife enthusiasts, and adventure lovers across the world. The wildlife tourism in the country will always attract wildlife lovers and visitors from various parts of the country. There are different wildlife sanctuaries in India.

Sariska Tiger Reserve – This tiger sanctuary in India is located in Alwar district of Rajasthan and it is one of the well-known tiger reserves, wildlife sanctuaries and national parks in India. It attracts wildlife lovers and tourists across the world. Despite the fact that there is no good population of tigers, the park is rich in biodiversity and flora and fauna. Some of the leading wildlife attractions in the national park are striped hyena, Bengal Tiger, leopard, golden jackal, chital, caracal, wild cat, 4-horned antelope, hare, wild boar, langur, sambar, chinkara, nilgai, and a lot of reptiles and bird species. Jeep safari is the best way to explore the wilderness.

Kaziranga National Park – The UNESCO World heritage site, Kaziranga National Park is among the best tiger reserves, wildlife sanctuaries, and national parks in the country. It is known for the amazing nature of rich flora and fauna and Kaziranga is positioned in the state of Assam. It is famous across the world with 2/3rd of great one-horned rhinoceros population. It has the highest density of tiger population among the conserved regions of national park.

It is simply a haven for the avifauna species and a huge breeding ground for elephants, swamp deer, and wild buffalo. Some of the other popular attractions are gaur, elephants, deer, sambar, wild boar, jungle cat, golden jackal, Indian muntjac, hispid hare, small mongoose, Bengal fox, Indian civets, etc. Here you can enjoy the enjoyable and exciting elephant safari.

Periyar National Park – Periyar national park is among the well known wildlife sanctuaries in the country. Located in Gods' own country, Kerala, Periyar is a home to rich diversity of flora and fauna species. Some of the major tourist attractions are leopards, tigers, panthers, mongoose, elephants, golden jackal, deer, sambar, birds etc. The River Periyar is stretched into the park. You can also enjoy boating on the lake to explore its attractions.

Bharatpur – Located in the state of Rajasthan, Bharatpur is among the most popular bird watcher's paradise on earth. It is the hottest favorite destination for the tourists. It gives shelter to water birds, fauna species, Sambar, migratory birds, Nilgai, Chital, and Boar. Some of the major attractions are migratory birds coming from Central Asia and Siberia to skip winter.

India is well known for wildlife attractions and a home to several rare and exotic species of wildlife.
