A major getaway to Hawaii, the state capital is a major hub for military defense and international business. The city is also well renowned for its Pacific and east-west culture, traditions and cuisine. The Hawaiian capital is the most remote city for its size in the world and is both southernmost and westernmost major city in the country. The beautiful city is also a major financial center of the islands and the Pacific Ocean.

Also known as “The Big Pineapple” and “Crossroads of the Pacific”, the elegant capital ranks significantly high on World Livability Rankings and was also ranked the second safest city in the nation in 2015.

When to Visit

The best time to explore the beauteous state capital is between the months of September to November i.e. the fall season as you could find cheap flights to Honolulu alongside attractive room tariffs. Since, the crowd rush is relatively low, a lot of airlines offer cheap airline tickets to Honolulu during this period.
