Botanical Gardens
Ooty Botanical Garden is the destination of every horticulturist. The garden, established in 1848, is known for its abundant fauna and 20 million years old fossil tree. Spreading over an area of 22-acre, the botanical garden is home to 650 species of plants and trees.

Ooty Lake
With Eucalyptus forests and a railway line at the backdrop, this gorgeous Lake presents a picturesque view. The running train and the chirping birds break the silence of the lake. It also serves as the venue of several boat races competition.

Wax World Museum
The Wax Museum houses life-size wax statues of famous Indian personalities. There are various wax statues representing the history, cultures and heritage of India. Situated within a century-old bungalow, the Wax World Museum lies in the Ooty-Coonoor road. The museum is also close to the famous Lake of the place.

Doddabetta Peak
When on Ooty tour, visitors ensure that they do not miss out Doddabetta Peak. Situated at an elevation of 2,623 m above sea level, the peak is the highest point in the area. Tourists enjoy bird's eye-view of the place and the splendour of Nilgiri Hill ranges from the peak. Covered with thick fog and greeneries, the hill town is an ideal romantic destination for couples.

Government Rose Garden
Situated on Elk Hill, the Government Rose Garden is a big draw to tourists. The garden houses more than 20,000 varieties of roses thus making it the largest rose garden in India. Roses of all colours and fragrance grow in the garden.

Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary & National Park
Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary & National Park lies on the Nilgiri Hills. It was established in 1940. Lurking in the deep forests of the sanctuary are Indian elephants, Bengal Tiger, Gaur, Indian Leopards, Chital and other endangered species. It is also home to about 266 bird species.

Some other tourist attractions include Annamalai Temple, Emerald Lake, Golf Course and St. Stephen's Church.
