From Bullfighting to Flamenco Dancing to World Famous Art – Madrid Has it All!

Madrid – the name of the city is derived from the Arabic word “Magerit” which means 'mother of waters'. The Prado Museum, Church of San Francisco El Grande, Puente de Toledo Bridge and Puerta de Alcala Arch are all built in the neoclassical style. For a taste of modern, one would have to visit the new urban areas of the Gran Via and Paseo de la Castellana. Both areas house shops, hotels, modern office blocks and avant-garde buildings.
