Ghorepani Poonhill Trekking is the easy and short trekking with low altitude and easy trekking trail located in Annapurna region.Ghorepani is located in Myagdi district, Dhawalgiri zone at the northern part of Nepal.Where the village lies at the area of Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA). Maximum height of Ghorepani Poonhill is 3210m so one can do this trek with easily without altitude sickness.
This trek can be done by family with children with the view of incredible mountains view, Mtt Dhaulagiri 8167m, Mt fishtail 6947m, Mt Annapurna I 8091m, Mt Annapurna South 7219m and Mt Nilgiri as well many Flora and Fauna with different variety of birds Himalayan forest and species can be seen. You are always welcomed with warm and great hospitality of local cultural and tradition of ethnic groups like Gurung, Thakali and Magars. First sunrise view from Poonhill makes the heart more warm and close with the nature and beautiful mountains can be viewed closely. Poonhill ascends to uphill approximately one hour from Ghorepani trip. Ghorepani Poonhill Trekking starts and ends at Nayapul with the short drive from Kathmandu-Pokhara Nayapool where the trekking itinerary follows from the route of Nayapul-Ulleri-Ghorepani Poonhill-Tadapani-Ghandruk and Nayapul Pokhara.This trekking can be done in 6/7 days in the beautiful and fresh nature's lap.
This trip can be done as tea house/lodge trekking also. Where in the tea house breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea, coffee are provided with facility of attached bathrooms and toilets. But somewhere on some place you may not found attached bathroom and toilet at that time you have to share the bathroom and the toilets. Facilities of internet, electricity charge, telephone can be found so you do not have to worry about the communications and the charging your batteries of camera or mobile phones along the route.
This trip for 9 days day by day itinerary in brief is given below can be done
On the first day 1 from your arrival at airport you will be welcomed by our customer representative and transfer to hotel. On the 2nd day you will drive 6 hours altitude of 780m to Pokhara and the day you will stay at your hotel. On the third day you will drive 1hours to Nayapul and your trek begins 6hours walk to Ulleri altitude of 1960m and you will stay there at lodge accommodation. On the 4th day you will start your trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani at altitude of 2750m, 6 hours walk and will stay there at lodge. Again another day 5 your trek begins by climbing Poonhill height of 3210m, 1 hour from Ghorepani for the sunrise view and then trek to Tadapani height of 2590m, walking with 5 hours and stay at lodge. Another day 6 you will begin you trek from Tadapani with 4 hours walk to Ghandruk height of 1940m a village of Gurung ethnic, stay there at lodge. Again the trek starts another day7 from Ghandruk to Kimche with a walk of 45 minutes and then you will drive back to Pokhara 3 hrs and stay at hotel. On the 8th day you will drive 6 hours from Pokhara to Kathmandu and can have your time at evening you will have farewell dinner in Nepali cultural restaurant and you will stay at your hotel. On the 9tha day your trekking ends in Nepal you will transfer to the airport for your home land. Like this your short span 9days of stay in Nepal will ends and you will carry the most enjoyable memories from our country for your whole life.
