Wear comfortable shoes with a good grip as the rocks can get really slippery. You need to walk carefully and make sure that you don't step on any marine inhabitants of the tide pools.
Besides you have to ensure that if your kids pick a crab or snail from any tidepool, you must put it back in the same tide pool. Try to reach the spot as early as possible as it gets crowded especially on weekends.
