Happy Half Term

Whilst it may feel like the kids have only just gone back to school after their six-week summer holiday, half term will be upon us before you know it. You can pretty much guarantee that after the phenomenal summer we have had we won't be so lucky come the end of October either so preparations of what to do to keep them occupied are going to need to be made in advance.

If you live in London or its surrounding areas then this article should give you the hints and tips you need to keep your kids occupied this October half term.

Theatre:

Quite often, especially during the school holidays, theatres put on matinee performances of their current production. Tickets tend to be cheaper too, so why not grabs a few tickets and take them to see a musical or if you are feeling cultural, something like the ballet?

Aquarium:

The London Aquarium is a fantastic place to while away an afternoon. You can check out all the creatures from the deep, walk through the tunnel as sharks swim overhead and watch the penguins getting fed all in the same afternoon. Why not make it a game and see how many creatures from Finding Nemo they can find on their way round?

Kidspace:

If you're looking to knacker them out, then Kidspace is the best kind of kids entertainment in London by far. With ball pits and climbing frames, swings and slides to get them excited they'll easily while away hours chasing each other and exploring the cavernous adventure centre. I promise you now, take your kids here for the day and it'll be a very quiet trip home.

Zoo:

London Zoo is obviously a predominantly outdoor activity but it is one, which is worth the risk if you get a clear, crisp autumn day. With an outstanding array of animals to see and set in the stunning backdrop of Regents Park you're kids will love it.

Finding kids entertainment in London isn't difficult, remember there are a number of parks, the South Bank and art galleries which now cater for keeping children occupied which are all free. It's amazing how far you can get with a little imagination, so why not think outside the box this half term and treat your kids to some memorable adventures!
