If the seaside isn't your idea of fun don't despair Provence has much more to offer a family on holiday. Quaint little towns are scattered all over, each with its own uniqueness. Aix-en-Provence is a small town just minutes from Marseille. To visit there is like entering a whole new country. The hustle and bustle of the city simply melts away in this quintessential little town. On every corner you will see flowers, color, history, fountains, and so much more. You won't need a car to get around. Aix is a walking town, everything you need is right there.

Exploring Provence from a holiday villa is one of the best ways to get the feel of the area. There are villas right in little neighborhoods where the neighbors welcome you and are quick to suggest fun activities and point out the best places to visit while on your holiday. Provence is an immense area with many different activities and places to see. Exploring the little towns is almost like being in a French movie. It is romantic and exciting for couples in love, or families having fun and learning about a new culture.

One holiday in Provence may not be enough to see all there is to see or do all there is to do. This will lead to even more holidays in Provence. With so many villas to choose from, you will never have the same vacation twice. Choose the sea side one time and the quaint countryside the next.
