How to Avoid the Common Travel Mistakes?

A vacation could symbolize a simple escape to 'change the routine' and let the crazy out, some 'me time' to collect your thoughts or just 'a getaway' to reboot mentally and physically before starting something new.

You instantly know that your trip was wasted if you come back feeling like you needed to be free from your vacation. Home sickness is also a sign indicating that your vacation destination was not good enough to engage and you rather stayed at home and saved that fortune you spend on the idea of having fun.

The days when most of the travellers would call up a travel agent, book a trip, hang up the phone and be done with it are long gone. Now, the Internet is a hodgepodge of hundreds of competing travel provider sites, all of whom are giving the “best deals” and “lowest prices”. And 9 out of 10 times it's a mistake to book the first thing you see.

Choosing the set dates for your trip and then refusing to budge is a surefire way to pay too much for your flight. You can save hundreds of pounds on airfare by pushing your travel dates around by just a few days. Ticket prices tend to be lowest on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and the most expensive on Fridays and Sundays, but this may vary. Cheapest parking Heathrow will minimize the airport travel hassles for you.

If you're planning to fly during high-traffic holidays like spring break or Christmas/New Year, be prepared to pay top pound for air transportation. Budget travellers may want to seek alternatives to holiday travel, whether it means taking the kids out of school or begging the big boss for some extra vacation days.

If you want a flawless experience of a well-planned journey and avoid making rookie, then you need to think differently.

See the world from your eyes, not with a screen (Nobody really sees then afterwards). Do not put your valuables in your checked luggage unless you are looking to get robbed. Do not rely on the credit cards entirely because not all the countries use this facility. Do not go with the opinion or media induced idea of a place because you might actually visit the unconventional places. Try local food preferences; sway a bit from your regulars. Avoid from over packing. Roll your clothes instead of folding them. Check the passport and visa requirements of the destination country. Else, you will be detained, fined, deported or all of it.

It is crucial that you leave all the worries behind and strong planning is the key to it. Everything should be pre-arranged otherwise it will create wrinkles in your expectation of a smooth vacation. Worrying constantly about your car back at the airport is a serious buzz kill. Heathrow airport parking can be your savior here.
