How to Choose a Best Hotel in Malaysia

Malaysia is country popular for the shopping, eating and activity options. It is a great place for honeymooners to get to know each other better and start their journey of life together, or for long-committed individuals to being a new spark into their relationship, a group of friends, a band of boys, gang of girls and loved ones to have fun together rand for friends to adventure.

The destination is one of the most popular destinations in the world with many travellers flocking the city on many occasion especially the Christmas and the New Year. The place is the most popular because of its picturesque views and the scenic beauty.

Any traveller has to be sure of the place they are visiting to as the occasion they are going for is special to them. Hence choosing the best hotel for their holiday in the country is the topmost priority for them.

Carcosa Seri Negara, a historical heritage mansion lawn in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city, Malaysia. The five suites at this former official residence of the high British representative to the Malay are done in the regency fashion, with fine brocade and silks and old etchings and local objects d'art. This conventional mansion has a broad verandah and gardens that are meant for taking long walks hand in hand.

The Nomad SuCsa is made for families with – separate dining cum living rooms, a kitchen, a large bathroom and a preference of one or two bedrooms. Moreover on the menu are complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi, a self-service launderette, a complimentary shuttle serviced to designated business and shopping centres, a swimming pool and babysitting services to the couples. As a bonus, many of the rooms have a view of the Petronas towers and Menara KL – which is particularly brilliant at night.

Anggun boutique hotel is tucked away in to the quiet street in Bukit Bintang, alive with little touches of whimsy that will shop girlfriends in their tracks. Positioned in two 1920's colonial houses and built around an indoor courtyard, much of the hotel is made up of the old- salvages century old sleeper wood.

Holiday Villa, Cherating, Pahang: The Malaysian owners of Holiday Villa hotels have opened urban resorts as far away as Paris and London, but their first, on Cherating's long beach. The grounds are a tropical garden of bizarre flora and fauna. Guests can choose a room in one of two modern blocks detached from a pool with the sea just 100 yards away; or one of the Eastern Pavillions, two-room suites with a private pool.

Angullia Beach House Resort, Marang, Terengganu: The Angullia has been welcoming tourists for over two decades, and it is easy to see the reasons for its triumph. The prices are extremely reasonable – 5 a night for shared dorms, with the selection of beach chalets to kampung-style houses in the sprawling gardens. A beach cafe is open throughout the day, and a vivacious restaurant at night specialising in Malay curries and freshly-caught barbecued fish. For snorkelling and scuba, local fishermen go for day trips to the reefs around nearby Kapas island.

Lone Pine Resort, Batu Ferringhi, Penang: Batu Ferringhi – “foreigner's rock” – is Malaysia's oldest beach resort, and was the first hotel to open here in 1948. It has newly been renovated and transformed into a retro boutique property. Guests have an option of staying in the original regal building, with vintage furniture and album covers from the 60s and 70s ornamenting the walls, or in the new low-rise annexe, whose spacious rooms are vivid and minimalist, with balcony and sea views. One can walk straight on to the beach and relax under the sun, but the designer pool, lined with Arabian-style tents and cosy cushions, is even more alluring. The hotel has an exceptional coffee shop serving local cuisine, in addition to a gourmet Japanese restaurant. At night, Batu Ferringhi gets energetic with bars and clubs, and the Lone Pine's Batubar has an inhouse DJ.
