How to Get Ticket Deals For Airlines

Finding the airlines with the best deals can be both frustrating and confusing. Ticket prices change more than traffic lights and for no real good reason. Your time is valuable to be spending countless hours trying to find which airlines has the best deals, so here are a few tips to make your travels a bit less expensive no matter which airlines you fly.

The three cheapest days to fly in order are: Wednesday, Tuesday and Saturdays. And some of the cheapest times to fly are the first flights out in the mornings, during lunch and dinner times. And the absolute cheapest flights are the red eyes. A lot of people don't like flying at night but this is the best time for your travels with the airlines, if you want the best prices on airline tickets.

The best times to buy tickets for the airlines is usually mid afternoon on a Tuesday and late Tuesday night into early Wednesday mornings. If at all possible, avoid buying airline tickets on the weekends. If your searching for cheap airline tickets on popular comparison ticket websites, be sure to check with the airlines that are low cost to begin with for the best deals as they don't allow tickets to be quoted on those sites.

Most people don't like getting on and off of a plane several times before they reach their final destination, but sometimes if you take a indirect flight, this will save you money as well. Some layovers can be long and of course this gets you to your final destination at a later time, but this is another way to save on your airlines flight.

Also keep your ears open for airlines starting a price war. This can certainly work in your favor. If two airlines announce a new route at the same time, they'll usually try and price each other right out of the market which in return is going to get you a great deal.

Trying to figure out why the airlines change their ticket prices when they do and as often as they do and finding the best airlines deals, can drive even the strongest person insane. There really is no rhyme or reason for it. Really pure madness is the only way to explain it. But with that being said, hopefully the tips mentioned in this article will help get you the best deals on all your flights no matter which airlines you fly.
