How to Get to Waterfront Retreat at Wattle Point

If you're thinking of the perfect vacation to keep off from your tedious daily routine and you just want to get quiet and peaceful surroundings taking a Waterfront retreat at Wattle Point will be the best solution.

The place offers the best waterfront and bush views wedding and conference center on the Gippsland Lakes in Eastern Victoria. When you wanted to be in the perfect location for play and relaxation, this is the perfect place to stay.

How to get to Waterfront Retreat at Wattle Point? It's easy. When you're from Melbourne keep rolling on the Princes Highway.

Upon entering Bairnsdale just before crossing the railway line you'll be able to see a sign pointing right to “Wattle Point” this is a blue tourist sign, you then have to turn right.

Then turn right again onto Forge Creek Road. This should keep you travelling for about 7-8.5km before seeing the sign pointing right to Wattle Point Retreat.

You need to turn right to Romawi road. This road turns into Wattle Point Road. Stay on it and keep driving for approximately 11km then you will reach the entrance of this beautiful place.

There is another option for you to get into Wattle Point Retreat. From Stratford you will see a right hand turn to Bengworden. Turn right and stay on this road and travel for approximately 44km, go through Perry Bridge and Merlieu.

Then you will see a blue sign directing you to turn right to Wattle Point. Take this turn and travel for another 8km until it ends in a T intersection. Turn right and this is the Wattle point Road, 2 km more and you will reach the entrance.

From the lake's entrance you need to take a turn onto the Paynesville Road right after crossing the Mitchell River Bridge. Stay on the road until you reach the Forge Creek Intersection then, make a right turn. Keep going on this road until you get to the sharp curve and turn left to Romawii Road.

Follow this road until it turns into wattle Point Road. About 2km after the mail boxes you will see the entrance sign on the right.
