Is Getting a Last Minute Business Class Deal Possible?

You suddenly need an 18 hour flight to a country half way around the world, and you are leaving in two days! For most of us, sitting in economy is not a problem but if you will sit for 18 hours, you might want to consider getting a more comfortable seat.

Last minute business class deals are possible; you just have to know where to look. Here are some tips on how to snag those cheaper business class seats a few days before your flight.

Do Some Research

Last minute business class deals are readily available for travelers who can do their own research. Of course, cheaper tickets would not just pop up on screen and most of the time, the cheaper ones are not always the flights with the shortest travelling time. You might consider stopping over a few hours in another country before going to your onward flight. Most of the time, these business class seats are much cheaper compared to direct, nonstop flights.

Other last minute business class deals are also available for early morning flights or midnight flights, those which are not usually taken by other passengers. Or maybe if you are lucky you might stumble on an ongoing business class promo. The trick is to do your research and search all over the internet and travel agencies; you might be surprised by how low these fares can go.

Book on a different Foreign Carrier

There are so many airlines that fly in and out of major business capitals and cities everyday in all over the world and sometimes you might find last minute business class deals if you opt to go with a foreign carrier that you would never expect to fly on your route. These carriers might have more than one stopover, but if you are looking for better deals you might consider getting flights from them.

Combine Carriers

Aside from considering stopovers, you can also try to lower down your costs if you use separate airlines for your flight ticket. You can get good deals if you get one ticket to a gateway and then get another ticket on another airline to your destination. Get airlines on the same alliance because you can request for your luggage to be tagged straight through to your destination. Different carriers might require you to check out on your first stop over and then check in again for the next airline.
