January 9-15, 2017 Sony Open Hawaii PGA Tour Golf Tournament tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate. Season Badges (good for week-long admission) are $60.

On January 11th, The Legend of Zelda, with the Reading Pops Orchestra a multimedia concert experience from the beloved game includes new gameplay video imagery on a larger than life screen with live music, featuring a beautifully orchestrated four movement symphony. 8pm at the Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall.

January 14, 21 & 28, You and Me and The Space Between presented by Honolulu Theatre for Youth. What happens when an island springs a leak and can no longer float on the open sea? One girl's heroic journey to save her people's lives and spirits. At Tenney Theatre, Corner of Beretania St. and Alakea St., Honolulu.

January 20, 2017, Slack Key Guitar & Ukulele Concert – Honoring Kelii Mawae of Molokai This concert will 'tune your world to Aloha'! Award winning concert artists Doug & Sandy McMaster have 10 CDs to perpetuate the knowledge and experience of the endangered artform of traditional Hawaiian slack key guitar and ukulele. Guided by the kupuna (elders), they have dedicated their lives to continuing the family tradition of slack key music.

January 21, 2017, Pacific Island Arts FESTIVAL The 18th annual Pacific Island Arts Festival held in Kapiolani Park offers our guests the opportunity to enjoy more than 75 Hawaii artists who display their work for sale. Admission is free.

On January 27, 29 & 31 the Honolulu Opera Theatre Presents A Streetcar Named Desire transformation of Tennessee Williams classic play. At the Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall, 777 Ware Ave., Honolulu.

January 27 & 28, Twelfth Night Shakespeare meets Strictly Ballroom. Illyria is a mythical, glitzy place where the inhabitants are in love with themselves and the idea of being in love. Set to the background of Big Band music and tangos, foxtrots and mambos, this production epitomizes the first line, “If music be the food of love, play on!” $25. Fridays & Saturdays at 7pm at Kennedy Theatre, 1770 East-West Rd., Honolulu.
