Established in 1997, it goes by the saying that “If you are in Katra and if you love food, you have to visit Pooja VaishnoDhaba.” A complete family dhaba restaurant with complete vegetarian food. It provides you South Indian, Gujarati and Chinese cuisines. The authentic and hygienic food is the hallmark of this hotel. You can see this hotel if you are standing at the Katra Bus Stand. The railway station is just 5 minutes walking from this hotel. So, if you are just out of train in Katra, and looking for some relishing veg food, head towards Pooja VaishnoDhaba.

2.Madhuban, Hotel Chinar

If you are looking for some pure veg hotels on the Katra Jammu road, hotel Madhuban serves your purpose well. The food quality has been rated well by a number of customers. The staff and service is also hospitable. However, it can around 15 minutes of waiting time because hotel is generally crowded since it is located in the main market. 3.SagarRatna

SagarRatna is one of the popular veg restaurants located in Katra. It is on Subhash Road near main bus stand. Very typical South Indian thali, along with some Gujarati and Jain thalis. If you are in veg and in Katra, and if you won't find anything else, hotel SagarRatna will always come to the rescue. Since it is located at the prime spot, it is always crowded. The food is also of decent quality, but mostly it is self-service as the hotel is facing understaff.

4.ManoranjanDhaba

As the name suggests, the hotel is pure entertainment. Most of the major hotels in Katra are vegetarian friendly, but this small dhaba gives you a feel of eating out of your town. As with the case with all the hotels locates in main market in Katra, ManoranjanDhaba is usually crowded during peak hours. The hotel is comparatively economical other pure veg hotels in Katra.

5.Punjabi Haveli

The hotel is located on the Jammu Katra road serving a reasonable Punjabi dishes. One can stop here for having a full meal on the Katra-Jammu (or vice-versa) journey. The Punjabi thali is the speciality of this hotel. Also try AmritsariKulcha if you visit here.
