London Airport Transport – Transfer between Airports without Stress and Strain

Travelling from one airport to another in London may be a challenging task if it is not planned well ahead. Most of the airlines which transit through London land in Heathrow airport and the transit flight should be caught at Gatwick airport or vice versa. There are three options available for people who would like to travel between the airports in order to catch the connecting flights.

Coach: Coaches are readily available for people at the Heathrow and Gatwick airports. The National Express is the coach that is used for this purpose. It connects between these two airports directly without any stop over points. The tickets for travelling on these coaches are available at the travel desk which is present at the exit of the airports. The National Express coach takes about 75 minutes to complete its journey and they have scheduled departure and arrival. It costs about 25 for an adult's single trip.

Train: There are three trains available which connects the Heathrow airport to the other airports in London. Heathrow express is a 15 minute journey train which transports people between the Paddington airport and Heathrow airport. Heathrow connect is a 30 minute journey train which connects all the airports with each other. London Underground takes around an hour for shuttling between Heathrow airport and central London. There are free transit services in the airports which connects all the terminals to the railway platforms.

Taxi: There are many official chauffeur services available in the airports which provide door to door transport between the airports. It generally takes about 45 minutes to travel in taxi from Heathrow airport to Gatwick airport. There are different types of taxis available according to the budget of the person travelling. Prices start from 138 for travelling in taxi.

All the three types of transport are available from each and every terminal in the airport. Choosing London to Heathrow taxi can be more effective for the traveler as the chauffeur are paid to meet and receive the passenger at the arrival section in order to get them to the next airport in quick time. There are many other advantages of using taxi from Heathrow.

It is the most convenient method for transit. It gives a relief for the passenger to know that the taxi is already waiting for him at the arrival which will take him to the connecting airport immediately without any delays.

The travel can be less stressful when the transit is carried out using the cab services London. Since the taxis are booked through the airport facilities, it is much safer and practical for the passengers.

London airport transfer can be done easily when planned well ahead through the various options that are made available for the people.
