Marrakech To The Sahara – Explore Everything From Busy Souks To The Serenity Of Desert Dunes

The natural beauty of Morocco expands from Mediterranean shoreline in the North through picturesque mountain to the bare wastelands f the Sahara in the south. Morocco is nation that enthralls and inspires tourists with its color, contrasts and opulence cultural legacy.

Marrakech is the ideal place to begin a Moroccan adventure journey. Bordered by snowy summits of the Atlas Mountains, with rose shaded walls & a thousand-year old palmerie, Marrakech is unbelievably exquisite. Be it desert tours from Marrakech or desert tours from Fes, your trip will always going to be exciting.

During your trip don't miss the chance to discover the vibrant souks of Msrrakech where each business has its own area, for example, the dyers quarter where colorful skeins of wool dangle drying in the sun rays that streams into the contracted pavements; the metal-quarter where self-righteous artisans make articles as their ancestors used to do centuries back; the carpet-quarter where homemade Moroccan carpets dangled like beautiful paintings and the jewelry-quarter where glass fronted window shine with 18ct gold.

Also explore the sights & sounds of Marrakech's Djemaa El Fna, one of the finest squares in Africa as well as a UNESCO World Heritage site. In afternoon, you'll come to see snake charmers, tooth-pullers, storytellers and water-sellers. During night the square changes to a carnival ambiance when a range of food-stalls are helmed in from the alleys; their benches and tables lightened by lamplight & adorned in the smoke of 100 Berber Barbeques.

From Marrakech, tour across high mountain passes and along green George oases; via Berber villages and pass One Thousand Kasbahs to witness the sun set over the slowly moving Saharan sands.

Camel trekking in Morocco is also one of the major highlights for many. Consider a camel ride to the Erg Chebbi desert dunes to view the sun set across this amazing sandscape or, further camel trek to a desert sanctuary, and spend a night in a tented camp fixed among the palm trees. If a single night in the sand of desert isn't enough for you, walk out of the 'world as you know it' and rove in the Sahara with a nomad guide and your camel.

The desert is a special place and you'll never feel tired of walking in the sand dunes, listening to Gnawa musicians & sipping sweet mint tea as the world passes by. Also, don't forget to add desert tours from Casablanca if you want to make your Morocco trip more adventurous.
