Melbourne Madness From Spring To Summer

If you have to take a close look at the events calendar for Melbourne this spring right through to summer, you will notice that there are plenty things for you to see and do when you get there. Locals from Melbourne and visitors from everywhere else can expect a plethora of things to see and do when they get to the southern city of Australia. People can head out to the sports stadiums to get a good dose of international sporting events that are lined up between now and the end of the year. You can enjoy cricket, rugby and even Australian Rules football if you prefer to watch something a little different. This August, Melbourne celebrates its 177th birthday and there is a whole host of exciting events that have been planned throughout the entire city, from the South Bank all the way through to the Yarra Valley further upstream.

It's important that you book your accommodation before you get there, because most of the places will be booked out by the time you get there. Hotelurban.com.au/Melbourne is a good place to start because the hotel itself is well located and easily accessible for all transport routes. You can get into places like Fitzroy and St Kilda in case you decide to head out to one of the festivals happening there. You can take one or two of the famous city walks they have there, were you can follow specified routes that take you past some of the best sites that the city has to offer and you can do it all for free if you really wanted. Look out for the annual writers festival happening currently and there is also the Look. Stop. Taste. Festival that brings you some of Melbourne's and Australia's finest culinary and wine tasting experiences. It will take you from one specially selected store to the next so that you can get to experience the best the Melbourne has to offer in terms of food and wine. Nature buffs can head out to the mountains, or to the Yarra valley and experience the best that nature has to offer. If you want to see kangaroo's and koalas you can visit the Healesville sanctuary, or take a walk or drive along the great ocean walk or great ocean road, where you can get to see the south pacific and The Apostles.

Whether you are into arts and culture, or sports and nature, there is guaranteed to be something interesting for you to do over there once you arrive in Melbourne.
