More Than 100 Options to Book Flight Tickets to Travel between Mumbai and Kolkata

Hence, most airlines operate flights that arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in the morning. Similarly, return flights are scheduled to reach in the evening or night. For instance, the IndiGo flight leaves at 6:05 am from Kolkata and reaches Mumbai at 8:55 am, and the flight number 9W615 leaves at 7:05 pm from latter and reaches Kolkata at 9:35 pm. This allows travellers to come back to their homes on the same day after completing their work. Direct Mumbai Kolkata flights take around two and a half hours to reach the destination. Most carriers offer a round trip between these two cities, keeping in mind the specific needs of fliers. Travellers can book flight tickets for round trip as it proves to be cheaper than one-way bookings.

Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport

Both domestic and international operations are handled at different terminals here. After the recent opening of Terminal 2, the passenger traffic handling capacity as well as the number of movements has increased. As per reports, some of the domestic operations will also be shifted to this newly built terminal.

As far as Mumbai Kolkata flights are concerned, travellers can choose from more than 100 options. It may take three to six hours to reach from one place to another, depending on the route and the number of stopovers. The first daily flight operated by IndiGo leaves at 2:45 am from this terminal and reaches Kolkata at 5:25 am. The last one is operated by the same carrier at 8:15 pm and reaches its destination at 11:00 pm. However, from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, the first and last flights to Mumbai leave at 5:55 am and 8:50 pm, respectively.
