1. High Atlas Mountains
The High Atlas Mountains are the second highest in Africa second to Kilimanjaro and the highest peak in North Africa. A day climb at Mount allows for trekkers to explore the region's varied peaks and have lunch in a Berber village or at Kasbah Toubkal with views.
2. Cascades Ouzoud Waterfalls
The Ouzoud falls, only a couple of hours from Marrakech boast three-layered excellent waterfalls and a lavish valley. Ouzoud offers many trekking options. Tourists can take a wooden paddle boat trip at the bottom of the falls or an icy dunk in the falls which makes for a charming experience. Open air cafe stands to conjure up the atmosphere with fresh cold orange juice and Moroccan snacks. Isn't it exciting!
3. Essaouira
This former Portuguese fished village once called Mogador is only three hours drive from Marrakech situated on Morocco's Atlantic Coast. Essaouira has beautiful white washed and blue covered houses that make a beautiful background of coastal romance. Essaouira's shoreline medieval medina offers mouth-watering fish and art galleries. A hippy colony with chic restaurants that cater to foodies, Essaouira is perfect for contemporary gastro-fare and an incredible place to enjoy sunset cocktails.
4. The Sahara Desert
A camel trip in the Sahara is one of those famous Morocco encounters. It's naturally at the top of many individual's lists; however, don't feel pressured to include it in your schedule at any cost. Riding a camel through the desert is a cool experience(even though the atmosphere is hot) and obviously an incredible photograph opportunity.

If you just have a couple of hours in Marrakech, we would suggest wandering around this square as it offers a bit of everything and is a great sensory experience.

The Kasbah region is a historical area that was initially where the walled stronghold, or fortress, was found. It was here that Morocco's early sultans settled their castle, managerial buildings, and mosque.
9. Bahia Palace
The Bahia Palace, standing tall today are the nineteenth century home of the vizir Si Moussa and his child who succeeded him. Ba Ahmed has an astounding mix of rooms and gardens there is even a gorgeous parade ground.

Your image of Marrakech may exclude many green spaces and vegetation, rather Marrakech really has several gardens and groves. These can be awesome spots to get away from the bustle of central Marrakech and its crowded squares and souks.
