Nainital by all means is one beautiful town on Earth. Located in the virgin regions of the Uttarakhand state, it is arguably the most popular hill station in the nation. Most known for the beautiful lake with sparkling water, called the Naini Lake, the hill town is one of the places in the country that were primarily founded and developed by the British during their colonial era, which is what we call as the “British Raj”. For the homesick British the town was their summer resort that also reminded them of the Cumbrian Lake District. Even after, when so much time has already passed, their presence can still be felt in the city, in the forms of churches, bungalows, and other structures. Ideally, the city remains pleasant for a visit in all months of the year and one will find tourists all the time around. However, the months between May to Mid-July and October are considered to be the peak seasons in the town. During these months the town gets filled up-to-the neck by the tourists, which consists of honeymooners, families, solo travellers, photographers, adventurers, and thrill seekers.

In addition to these, the town is also an excellent place for a number of outdoor activities. The hallucinatory hills of the town demand immediate action like trekking, hitch-hiking, mountain biking. Other than these boating and picnics are also quite popular activities among the tourists.

The town is one fine destination to consider if one is looking for a budget holiday destination for his next holiday.
