Ramkund – Also known as Triveni Sangam, the place is the holy site where exists a sacred tank called Ramkund, which is believed to be the tank where Lord Rama bathe during his stay in Nasik. The tank is also the site where river Godavari meets river Varuni and Tharuni.
Trimbakeshwar – Located about 30 k.m. away from the city is another holy site called Trimbakeshwar. It is a Lord Shiva site housing one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. The place is one of the holiest sites in the country and the Shivaites see it with utmost reverence. There is a large Lingam in the sanctum and devotees believe that visiting the temple helps one attain salvation. There also exists a holy tank at just 5 minutes walk from the temple.
