Once you plan your vacations the first priority of yours is to book room in hotel. Your selection of the right Hotel is based on a number of factors such as from cost and location to amenities and attractions. You will get more then enough choices to put you in a situation of confusion. Choosing the right one is a big task. Well, to make things easy for you here we provide you with some necessary checkpoints you can look after before you book your Hotel accommodation:

1. Check the price: The first and most important thing to do before you book your Hotel room is to check the price. Carefully read everything, whether the given price is for a single person or a single bed because if you may get a surprise later when you are asked to pay more for your accommodation. Mostly two people are allowed in one room and they may charge you extra for the third person, sometimes you are not charged for your child or they can charge according to your children age, so it is best to make things clear well before. Remember if initially you are asked to pay too low don't get excited and read the terms and conditions carefully and see to it if the charges include everything like taxes, surcharges, service fees, Wifi charges etc. Most importantly, if you prepaid any amount to the Internet website, confirm that you won't be billed again by the hotel.

2. Check the photos of the Hotel: With the help of Internet you can see the pictures of the Hotel on the Hotel website. Well, it would be wrong to say that book your room if you find the Hotel pictures interesting but yes it will definitely make things more clear for you.

3. Check the reviews for the hotel: All your confusion will get cleared if you read the reviews and the rating given to the Hotel by the people who have been to the Hotel before. The ex-customers of the Hotel are the real guide for you. If you like a Hotel but the reviews given to it are not so good then don't worry as your taste can be different and you may like what others may not like and vice versa, so check things accordingly.

4. Check the location: See to it that the Hotel you are choosing is situated in a decent area. You can take help of online map to check the exact location of the hotel. It would be very convenient for you to book your accommodation in a Hotel which is close to the major travel destinations, this will reduce your traveling time. It would be an added advantage if your accommodation is near by the market. But see to it that the environment around the Hotel is peaceful.

5.Make a reservation in off season: Well, it is only applicable for those who have planned their trip well in advance, booking a room in Hotel during the vacation period will make you pay more. If possible make your reservation in an off-season, this will be profitable for you. Plus during seasons most of all Hotels are completely booked and then you may not get what you want, so its better to make advance booking. But see to it that you read all cancellation and refund policy before you make your booking.

Apart from this, see to it that the information provided on the Hotel website is correct, to cross check you can give a call to the Hotel management and clear all your doubts. Don't book your accommodation in a hurry take time atleast two-days time to research properly. If you follow this check-list, your are less likely to get any problem in your accommodation.
