New Hotel G Yangon Celebrates Opening With Special Room Rates

To mark the launch of the new lifestyle hotel in downtown Yangon – the most recent GCP Hospitality property to debut – special opening rates are available through 31 December 2017 (subject to availability and blackout dates).

The GCP Hospitality portfolio now comprises properties in Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzhen, Bangkok and Pattaya in Thailand, Singapore, Myanmar and San Francisco, with additional properties scheduled to open in Beijing, Perth and Seoul.

At 2,500 years old and rising to a height of around 100 metres, Shwedagon Pagoda is an iconic feature of the city's skyline that can be seen for miles around and is said to contain Buddha relics. Combining optimum comfort with modern technology in a stimulating decor of wood tones and vivid colours, the rooms are well appointed with the likes of an LED Smart TV, Handy Phone with free local & international calls and data while roaming in Yangon, Bluetooth stereo alarm, complimentary Wi-Fi, E-reader application with access to over 6,000 magazines and newspapers, safe and coffee-tea making facilities.

In terms of property facilities, guests staying at Hotel G Yangon have the use of a 550 sqm fitness centre with state-of-the-art equipment including treadmills, free weights and mat areas and also a Pilates/Yoga/Zumba studio, G Shop with branded souvenirs and local items, communal area serving as a place to gather and mingle and the signature Babett Eatery & Bar.

Babett Eatery & Bar is the hotel's lively eating, drinking and socializing is operated by the same team that opened Scarlett, 25 Degrees, and Ginett restaurants and bars. Serving a seasonal new Western cuisine inspired by Californian traditions, the venue is open throughout the day from breakfast and brunch to evening cocktails and wines.
