New York A Modern Day Travel Tale

In a city that has been called so many names (all good ones so far!) over time, it comes as no surprise that all eyes are usually centred on this unpredictable delight of a city. With so many interpretations of this metropolitan in glorious musicals, hilarious sitcoms and stand-up comedies; it basically writes its story itself. There is always so much going on in the city, even during the dull hours of a slow weekday that every penny you invest on those tickets to New York will earn you plenty of memorable tales to last an entire lifetime.

And just like this metropolis, the landmarks of this place have their very own stories too that have garnered a sizeable fan base all over the world comprising of all those starry eyed tourists for whom the city is no less than the ultimate answer of the incomplete puzzle that their life has become of late. The poster lady of all this fanfare is the towering Statue of Liberty. Synonymous to hope for every other individual that comes to this country to fulfil their fanciful American dream, this statue has its very own island away from the white noise of the rest of the city that you would come to see after reaching here via flights to New York.

The skyline of this big city possesses few of the most coveted buildings to ever exist in the history of mankind. One of the most iconic of these glittering towers is the Empire State Building. It is almost a staple in the motion pictures all over the world where it plays the key role of weaving eternal magic on the silver screen. Even if you are on a tight budget during your trip here, you can always count on the cheap flights to New York and a casual stroll down the road of the Big Apple for putting that precious smile on your face that will be quite hard to wipe off any time soon.

Another star attraction of this town is the Grand Central Terminal, a train station that cannot get any more glamorous that it already is. The classic architecture coupled with the latest infrastructure has made it one of the busiest train stations around the globe. It is one of those places that are much more than just a shining memory of the past and is still very much connected to the lifeline of the present.
