Chandigarh is the capital of the Punjab and Haryana states and is famous for being India's first “planned city” after independence. It was designed by Charles-EdouardJeanneret-Gris, who was known as Le Corbusier, the famous Swiss-French architect and designer who was famous for his urban planning designs and architecture.
Excellent Sightseeing Attractions
Surrounded by the Shivalik mountain ranges, Panchkula is a modern town with a lot of attractions for visitors to North India; these include the famous gardens of Pinjor and Yadavindra, the Kaushalya Reservoir Lake, Asia's biggest cactus garden, the Morni Hills, the ancient temple of Kali Mata, etc. For visitors who would like to engage in some golf, there is the Panchkula Golf Club, a championship 18-hole golf course. The hotel is a 30-minute car drive from the train station and Chandigarh Airport is the nearest international airport.
Best Seasons
The best time to visit Panchkula would be in spring between the end of February all the way to mid-April, when temperatures range between a maximum of 20 degrees C to 5 degrees C; autumn too is quite pleasant, especially for visitors from cold places, as the temperature usually hovers between 10 degrees C to 24 degrees C with a maximum of 30 degrees C on some days. Summers and winters do see a rise in temperature above 40 degrees C and monsoons tend to be severe sometimes especially in the months of August and September.

From a sleepy town in the foothills of the Himalayas, Panchkula is now a bustling town with all modern amenities and a choice of 2, 3, 4, and 5-star hotels offering luxurious amenities for the choosy traveller. Tourists can enjoy a vivacious nightlife in Panchkula with many bars, clubs, lounges restaurants,discos, nightclubs, cinemas and theatres. Many of these venues are in and around the town, making it easy for tourists to party the night away. Some of the popular clubs include the Vibe Club, the Voodoo Lounge Bar, X-Tronic nightclub, etc.
