Penang With Flying Colors – Blue Beaches, Green Parks And Golden Food

Penang is a Malaysian state which lies close to the northwestern coastal regions of the Malay Peninsula. The state also includes a nearby island which has the same name as that of the state. Penang is influenced by various cultures and languages so it would be the perfect holiday destination for people from the west as well as the east.

You could spot most tourists on the beaches as the shores are kept clean and the water is crystal clear. The waves are ideal for swimming and the sun rays are ideal for getting a sun tan. Penang beaches are the capital for surfers as the beaches are safe for surfing and other water sports like kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, speed boating, sailing, rafting, flow boarding, rowing and yachting. Reaching the mainland from the island is easy via ferry services. Frequent trips are there to drop and pick you. You can buy tickets for cruises to get around the beach. Add fun to your beach trips by dining, drinking and dancing in the cruise.

You can choose a Penang accommodation on the island and enjoy your beach days or stay in Penang hotels situated on the mainland and involve in sightseeing. Georgetown is the main area in the city which is loaded with several temples and gardens. There are plenty of hotels in Penang Georgetown which is the perfect area for the tourists to stay. The Batu Ferringhi area has a great beach to play, nice spa centers are there to relax and a night market where everything you need is available at a cheaper price. The Tropical Fruit Farm is where you can see fruit trees and plants and taste the organic fruits as well. The tour really educates you on the fruit varieties and the importance of the same.

The Penang Butterfly Farm is full of colorful butterflies, reptiles, snakes and other insects. A nice place for the kids definitely. If you are a nature lover then take a trip to the Penang Botanical Gardens. Lots of monkeys, green trees everywhere, clean waterfall and nice walking trails make the place absolutely brilliant. Get to know the history of the state by visiting the Penang Peranakan Museum. The things used by the early Penangites such as the porcelain wares, decorative items, furniture, paintings, ornaments, clothing and the accessories are displayed in the museum. For kids there is a Toy Museum where you can see a great collection of the toys and dolls brought from almost all regions of the world.

The number of budget hotels in Malaysia is more than you expect as people of various budgets come here to enjoy their holidays. The most interesting part of Penang lies in the Penang National Park. You can experience all the adventures here like the walking and climbing trails, swimming, jet boating and camping on the Monkey Island and relaxing on the warm beach shores. The beach is so calm and the water is also very clean. Those who want to escape the city can come and enjoy in the island as there are only fewer crowd on this beach.
